Long article but worth the read. I use Buffer for automation and always viewed Hootsuite as the one you use if you don’t use Buffer. After reading this I’ll give it a shot. Biggest take away for me is going to be using TweetDis on my site. Thanks….

I was looking for a tool to send DM’s on Twitter and having trouble finding exactly what I needed. Thanks you your write up here I am going to try out TwitterDMer since it sounds like what I have been looking for. Thanks for another great article with good info.

Jayme Silvestri

I can also confirm that TwitterDMer is not working… I will try TweetManager. It also appears that True Twit gives the option to automate messages to new followers, I’ll check that.

I think there is no need to follow all of our twitter followers. Why should we? I usually follow people who are giving very useful tweets.

Good list of tools, Hootsuite is certainly an excellent all-rounder and I would also include Sendible in the list too as they also do a very good job with their service.
