PSA: Take Your PTO and Explore the Outdoors

All work and no play makes the average American absolutely miserable! Many Americans don’t receive any paid vacation time, and those who do rarely use up all the time they are given. This means the stress of work is impacting Americans more as they are working more and having less time to enjoy themselves. In the average 80 year lifespan of an American, 13.2 years will be spent working while less than a year will be spent socializing!

Work is important, we all know that, but taking your PTO can be beneficial not only for your own mental health, but for your performance at work as well. Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of work can lead to overall improvements in cognitive wellbeing, meaning you can come back from your vacation a better worker!
One of the easiest ways to take a vacation without spending too much time and money is camping! There are nearly 14,000 campgrounds across America, all with their own activities that can be fun for the whole family!
