5 Reasons your Small Business Needs a Website
Hey there everybody,
I ran across an interesting read earlier this week on non-other than Entrepreneur.com that stated “46% of small businesses do not have a website”.
I have to say, that I’m pretty shocked that there are still a number of small businesses that do not have a web presence – Especially since:
- More than 2 Billion people use the internet everyday
- A website is one of the least expensive and easiest tools that can be used to market a small business.
Why Your Small Business Needs a Website
In lieu of this, I’ve decided to put together a list of 6 reasons your small business needs a website (If you do not have one).
1. 24/7 Accessibility
The internet is available 24/7; having a small business website gives prospective customer’s unlimited access to finding information regarding your products and services.
2. Sales and Marketing
Your website can serve as a “marketing and sales” machine for your company. The key here is to make sure that you have well written and compelling sales copy on your site to attract your ideal clients and compel them to use your products or services.
3. Lead Generation
Lead generation is crucial in online marketing. Adding freebies and other valuable resources in exchange for opt-ins to your website can serve as great way to generate new leads from prospective customers searching for your products and services.
4. To keep up with the “Competition”
Yes, that’s right! Your competitors are online. When your website customers are searching for your products and services, if you don’t have a website and your competitors do…this will more than likely cause you to lose out on potential business.
5. Present a Professional Business Image
Ever hear of the saying “Judging a Book By its Cover”? Well, this saying definitely goes for your website. To inspire trust and build business credibility, your website needs to be well designed. As they say…first impressions are lasting impressions.
If you enjoyed this blog post, I’d be very grateful if you’d help it spread by sharing it on Twitter or Facebook. Thanks guys….
