Take Time to Create a Portfolio.
One thing that many prospective clients will want to see before choosing an architect to do a project for them is their portfolio. The client is trying to understand what kind of work the architect has done before and if it is aesthetically pleasing to them. They do not want to choose someone who does not have any experience. It can take many years to create a great portfolio and that time cannot be rushed. It is important to only include projects that the architect has completed in the portfolio. It is recommended to start the portfolio while still in the learning process. It is a good way to keep up with the work that has been previously completed and become aware of the progress that has been made. A portfolio is an awesome way to stand out from other architects who may also want to work on the project.
