I was reading through some articles the other day and ran across an infographic that I just had to share with you guys.  The infographic is regarding the importance of a social media presence- specifically for small businesses. This infographic clearly shows that customers are searching for businesses online. 

Here are three important facts to note:

• 97% of customers use online sources to research products or services in their area
• 7 out of 10 consumers are more likely to use a local business if it has information available on a social media site like Facebook or Twitter
• 60% of customers use search engines as a primary source of basic business listing information like hours, address, and phone number.
